My granddaughter is just over 5 months now and still going strong with breastfeeding. I am a very grateful Granny and forever grateful for your wonderful support in our time of need.It made a huge difference to this little ones start in life. Thank you both, you are doing an amazing and life changing job.

Denise attended to my newborn for breastfeeding support. She was very prompt at arranging the visit and conducted a thorough assessment. I did not feel rushed or on a time constraint during the visit and felt all my worries and concerns were listened to. Denise came across as being very knowledgeable and instantly put me at ease during the visit. I have contacted her since my initial appointment and always get a speedy response. I am thankful for her help.

I got in touch with Denise when my son was a few weeks old. He was showing symptoms of a cow's milk protein allergy through my breastmilk. I was getting mixed advice and felt ignored by the health professionals around me. Denise listened and then gave me excellent advice on how to manage my diet, which did wonders for my son and me. All of his symptoms went. Denise also gave me advice on how to express my breastmilk and get into a daily routine so I could have my milk stored for when I needed to be away from him. I was ready to give up breastfeeding but after speaking to Denise I felt empowered to carry on and fed my son for a lot longer than I thought I would.

Clare was really helpful when I struggled with breastfeeding my daughter. It was really painful and I was ready to give up but Clare encouraged me, showing me a great deal of empathy for my situation. She was able to use her extensive knowledge and experience to assess my situation and by correcting my seating position she completely changed the experience for me.

Dont slump in your chair ladies - rubbish for the back and the breast!

I fed my daughter successfully for the next 8 months with no further issues

What our families think...

Clare Thank you so much for all the information, it's all really helpful. More than anything I just wanted to thank you for eliminating my mum guilt. That has been my main problem to be honest. You were so lovely and personable and I feel a million times better about everything. Thanks again for being absolutely amazing. It was genuinely the best money I've ever spent in my life

Both Clare and Denise are amazing, they saved our breastfeeding journey. After a very bad start at the hospital and with minimal support during lockdown, I contacted them thinking that we will not be able to establish breastfeeding. They were very kind, informative and reassuring. Denise offered a home visit us despite lockdown, which was amazing, as breastfeeding help is so important face to face. We managed to get baby onto the breast. They offered follow up appointments to improve latch, as well as checking on us to see how we were going. And we are now turning to them for info around weaning. I am so grateful for their support, and feel we wouldn't have managed to continue without them! I couldn't recommend them more

I'm so grateful to Nutrition4Nippers for the help they gave me and my little boy. We didn't have much support in hospital, and with the pandemic the community breastfeeding team was unable to do home visits. We were readmitted for weight loss and I had completely lost my confidence in breastfeeding, but I was so desperate for it to work. Clare really listened, gave lots of reassurance and so much helpful, practical advice. She gave me a huge boost when I needed it most, and we've gone from strength to strength ever since. My premature little boy is now a thriving, smiling chunk and I feel so proud for what I have achieved. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that you were there to support me. Us mums are lucky that there are people like you around!

I was determined to breastfeed my daughter, and after a bit of a struggle in the early days, I felt we were doing well together. However, my daughter’s weight started to falter and despite the NHS offering lactation support via a waiting list, I wanted to quickly make sure there was nothing I could do to improve our breastfeeding journey, so contacted Denise for help. Through a couple of face to face meetings, calls, emails and texts, Denise helped us improve our latch, diagnose delayed cows milk allergy, and provided much needed reassurance that I was doing a great job and that my daughter was thriving. My little girl is now 10 months, we are still breastfeeding, her weight is stable, she is eating and enjoying solids, and we are slowly introducing cows milk back into our diets. There are not enough words for me to describe how grateful I am for Denise’s support. It was the best decision I could have made for both me and my daughter.

Patrick was 1 on the 26th Dec. We’re still going strong and hoping to continue once I go back to work next week.
Thank you Clare for your support through the weight issues early on and then the feed aversion with the reflux. You have been such an important part of my proudest achievement.
